DO NOT WET YOUR LASHES FOR THE FIRST 12 HOUR'S AFTER GETTING THEM DONE. AVOID EXCESSIVE HEAT, STEAM AND SWEATING FOR THE FIRST 24 HOURS AFTER A FULL SET OR REFILL.

1.

Wash lashes daily. This is by far, the most important after care instruction. I cannot stress enough how important it is to keep your lashes clean. This will not only help with extension retention, this will also help maintain the health of your natural eyelashes. Cleaning your extensions twice a day with the recommended lash shampoo in the morning &night, will help keep oil, makeup and dirt from building up at the base of the lashes. Thus, keeping the extensions shiny, clean and separated, making it easier to brush through them, which is what you want to do right after washing them!

2.

Brush through your lashes often!  The brush should never get stuck in your lashes when you're attempting to comb through them. Extensions should never come out in chunks when brushing through them.  If this happens, it means that the lashes are not being brushed or cleaned often enough and are sticking together at the base. Brushing at least 3-4 times a day from the base to the tip of the extension will prevent this from happening.

3.

Avoid touching, rubbing, or playing with your lashes. This can totally be a subconscious tendency. Some clients even rub their eyes in their sleep. Doing this will cause your lashes to prematurely fall out. Also, the oils or lotions that you have on your hands will break down the adhesive, which will result in the need for refills more often.

4.

Avoid sleeping on your face. This will definitely affect the retention of your lash extensions. However, if this cannot be avoided I suggest using a satin/silk pillow case to reduce the risk of lash loss.

5.

Avoid facial treatments and massages right after getting your lashes done. it is recommended that you schedule these types of treatments right before a scheduled lash appointment.

6.

Do not apply mascara to the lash extensions. If you feel that they do not look full enough, I would suggest trying a different type of lash extension such as hybrid or volume lash extensions.

7.

Make sure your lash extensions are clean prior to each and every lash appointment. Not maintaining clean lashes in between appointments results in excessive clean up during your refill appointment, which takes away from the application process.  Doing your part by keeping your lashes clean and brushed will allow us the time to get you as full as possible during each refill appointment.

8.

DO NOT REMOVE THE LASH EXTENSIONS AT HOME!! There is no at-home treatment or product that you can use to effectively and safely remove the lash extensions without damaging your natural lashes. IF YOU NO LONGER WISH TO WEAR LASH EXTENSIONS, I RECOMMEND THAT YOU LET THEM SHED OUT NATURALLY OR SEE A LICENSED PROFESSIONAL TO HAVE THEM PROPERLY REMOVED.
